Kathleen Grace and Thom Woodley formed Dinosaur Diorama Productions, when they teamed up in the summer of 2006 to produce their web sitcom The Burg. The show premiered on YouTube in June, and has since gone on to become an Internet sensation, attracting the attention of mainstream media, hipsters, and moguls alike. With just a credit card and a circle of talented friends, Woodley and Grace have pioneered the world of do-it-yourself sitcoms.
Kathleen Grace, director/producer, got her start with the Suitcase Players; a theater company that performed 15-minute comedic interpretations of classic plays using the streets of New York as their stage. She has worked behind the scenes on a variety of feature films and television series, like Six Degrees, Conviction, and Kidnapped. She’s also a huge fan of the Cretaceous Period (she’s got a predilection for pterodactyls).
Thom Woodley, writer/producer, is a Brooklyn based filmmaker, who’s written several stage plays, short films and even has a few optioned scripts under his belt. He’s also a member of the indie rock bands, Infidels and [bert], as well as the music comedy duo Dawghaus. If Thom could be any dinosaur it would be a stegosaurus – one that spits ninja throwing stars.
Since its debut, their web sitcom, The Burg, has been featured in the New York Times, Wired Magazine, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, New York Post, and is one of the first and most critically acclaimed webcoms. Most recently, Thom and Kathleen were selected by Paper Magazine's as one their 40 Most Beautiful People. Brad and Angelina – eat your hearts out.
